How It works
How Pudu MT1 cleaning robot works
Map the cleaning area
The robot scans your facility and builds a digital map of the space, marking cleaning zones, obstacles and no-go areas. Setup is done once – after that, the map is reused for every task.
Create or select cleaning routes
Pick a mode for each zone: standard sweeping when everything needs covering, or spot cleaning when only certain spots do. Speed adjusts from 0.2 to 1.2 m/s – slow it down for tight areas, let it move in open ones.
Detect obstacles and navigate safely
Using VSLAM, markers and Lidar SLAM with 3D depth perception, the robot positions itself precisely and adapts to changing surroundings. It picks up obstacles as they appear and gives people space – even in a crowd.
Sweep dust and debris from floor surfaces
Two disc brushes sweep a 70 cm path, handling both large debris and fine dust in one pass. Negative-pressure ventilation draws the dust into the 35 L bin and the filter holds it there – so it doesn't end up back in the air.
Return to charging or standby after the task
The robot knows when to stop: task complete or battery low, it returns to the dock by itself. It recharges in under 3 hours and resumes work – completing up to three full cycles per day.
Track cleaning performance over time
Cleaning data is available through the PUDU Link platform, so you can see what was cleaned, when and where. Over time, this gives you a clear view of coverage, robot utilisation and cleaning consistency across your facility.

Is Pudu MT1 a robotic sweeper or scrubber?
MT1 is a sweeper, not a scrubber. It performs dry cleaning only: it picks up dust, dirt and larger debris, but does not wash or scrub floors. If you need wet cleaning, other Pudu models are better suited — Deus Robotics can advise on the right fit.
