$5 million investment: Deus Robotics raises funding

Deus Robotics has announced that it has secured $5 million in funding from BGV Trident Capital, co-founded by Ilya Ponomarev and Hennadiy Butkevych, to support the development of its robotic manufacturing capabilities. Founded in 2018 by Paul Pikulin, the company focuses on building and scaling robot production.

According to Deus Robotics, the investment will support the launch of serial production of robotic systems designed for warehouse logistics. The company also plans to expand its capabilities in developing new technical solutions and enter the international market. The startup has plans to produce an average of 400 robots per month by the end of this year. Only 40 such machines were produced by the end of last year. Paul Pikulyn previously invested over a million dollars in the development of his enterprise. According to him, the company intends to create and produce machines that can replace sorters and order pickers in warehouses, as well as work on pallet transportation. In the future, the company plans to create three more new robot models for performing other functions, such as picking goods from shelves and racks.

According to Managing Partner of BGV Trident Capital, Ilya Ponomarev, creating robots is one of the most promising areas of high-tech development. Replacing manual labor with automation has always been a goal of humanity, and he is pleased to see Deus Robotics leading this shift. As an investor, he emphasized his company’s commitment to supporting the business and driving its global growth.

Paul Pikulin reported that Deus Robotics has already received orders for over 400 robots, which customers expect in 2022-2023. Currently, among the most promising clients is Nova Post.
